John Palumbo was born and raised in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan, NYC. He was one of the New York Knicks ball boys in the 1980's and attended the Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC in the mid 1990's. His debut in the motion picture was for a small role in the comedy My Ex-Girlfriend's Wedding (1999) directed by Martin Guigui. Later he had a recurring role on HBO's prison drama "OZ" playing the role of Don Zanghi. His father was the President of Off-Track Betting (OTB) in the 1990's.
