Angela Deiss is a graduate of the East Carolina University School of Art, finishing up her Undergraduate education with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree. Through SAG, Angela performed in a recurring principal role as Susan Sackler in Beth Macy's 8-episode series Dopesick, that aired in the Fall of 2021 on Hulu featuring Michael Keaton and Rosario Dawson. In 2021 Angela also had principal roles in several films. One which won several awards at the SAG DC- 48 where she played Mob Boss Jane Tennally in The Tennally's. Another notable Principal film role in 2021 was Mendez Wife in Apple Studio's film Raymond and Ray with Co-star's Ethan Hawke, Ewan McGregor and Oscar Nunez. What Would Picasso Do, Angela portrays principal role Clair's mother. Also in 2021 Angela was privileged to work onscreen and off screen with two Hollywood legends - Daphne Maxwell Reid and Tim Reid in the film The Business of Christmas II as a supporting actress. She also had fun over the summer of 2021 with Jon Heder and Kim Matula filming Tapawingo.Angela has been active in industry, where she has enjoyed helping with set design, hair and wardrobe for over 30 years. Her experience allows her to help in different areas, onscreen as a principal actress, background actress, artist for set design, hair, wardrobe or onset Paramedic. Angela enjoys the versatility her experience allows her to play and enjoys film and television. During her time at East Carolina University she studied painting, textiles, photography and ceramics. She has a brand of artwork- Blue Cava Art which is sold in stores Worldwide. She has additional training in Emergency Medicine and is a Licensed Paramedic in North Carolina. She also has an Associates degree in Cosmetology.
