The Terminal Victor Navorski is stranded at New York's International Airport when a military coup breaks out in his home country while he is on his way to America. With his passport no longer valid, Victor loses his right to enter the United States. Unable to return to his homeland and unable to enter America, Victor is forced to wait in the transit passenger lounge of the airport terminal until the war in his country is over. Throughout his stay, he faces a series of challenges and experiences that test his patience and resilience.
